Warum ist die Übersetzung von "to snug" als "kuscheln" nicht im Wörterbuch enthalten?
Beispiel: I'd like to snug as a bug in a rug ...

Aus dem Shorter Oxford English Dictionary:
1verb intrans. Lie or nestle closely or comfortably, esp.in bed; snuggle; settle down, make oneself snug or comfortable, (usu. foll. by down ).colloq.&dial.l
2verb trans. Place or put ( away ) snugly; make snug, comfortable, cosy, or safe (freq. foll. by down ,up).colloq.

Huhu Udo2009 !
Wenn Du den Begriff ins Wörterbuch eingetragen haben willst, dann müsstest Du das weiter unten in der Rubrik "Neuer Eintrag für LEO" beantragen. Dazu gehören dann aber auch die entsprechenden Wörterbuch- und/oder Kontextbelege für beide Sprachen, wie in der "Bedienungsanleitung" in dem dicken blauen Feld angegeben :

Just for the record, your 'example' isn't correct.

'Snug as a bug in a rug' is a saying, but in it, 'snug' is an adjective, not a verb.

'Snug (down)' may exist, perhaps especially in some BE dialects, but in my experience it isn't at all common. 'Snuggle' is much more appropriate for learners.

That 's what you get when copying something from the WWW on the spur of the moment without much further thinking...

"Snug as a bug in a rug" means to be very very comfortable. - I agree with you.

However, the Oxford Dictionary lists "to snug" as a verb - see my first post.

A correct example would be: "I'd like to snug like a bug in a rug" ... (?)
