to do one's business in an office

To all the natives: I think the author of this phrase (a German native) wanted to express that business is conducted in an office... but does this phrase hit the nail on the head? Or is it totally ambiguous? Does that phrase imply that you actually do something in an office now that you would usually do in a bathroom? I am a German native myself and I am not quite sure that you can actually say it like that...

Yes, it sounds like pooing in your office.

Whenever you do YOUR business, it is potty-talk.

Even just removing "one's" cleans this up a lot: "do business in an/his/her office" (as opposed to at home, on the road, or whatever).
