Hm, merkwürdig - "answer" ist zwar als Übersetzung für "übereinstimmen" angegeben, aber wenn man umgekehrt nach "answer" sucht, kommt "übereinstimmen" nicht als deutsche Übersetzung vor.
Wenn, dann müsste es auf jeden Fall heißen "answer to" - "übereinstimmen mit" (im Sinne von "entsprechen"; das Wort ist auch schon im Wörterbuch als Übersetzung für "answer to").

Womöglich wurde "answer to" auch früher mehr im Sinne von "übereinstimmen" verwendet als heute (das ist aber nur eine Vermutung)

Answers to, corresponds to, equates and so on.

All I can think of, off the top of my head. But answer alone is certainly not enough.
