    Heißt es im Satz: "possibly arised" oder "possibly arising residue" ?

    Note that alcohol is spelt without an 'e'.

    And what do you mean by benzine? If you mean petrol(BE) / gasoline(AE) then it would be better to say so, rather than use benzine, which can very easily be confused with benzene.

    Auch das "optionally" finde ich stark entbehrlich. Das man die Wahl hat, wird zum einen durch das "may", zum anderen durch die Angabe zweier Möglichkeiten schon klar.

    Possible residue may be cleaned with .... [see no. 3]... or denatured alcohol.
    Possible residue may be cleaned either with ... or denatured alcohol.

    I fear that the proposed agents may not merely clean the residue but could remove it entirely.

    Moreover: "possible" is a Germanism. "Residue may be removed using ..." would be my suggestion. I can't comment on the chemicals.

    Possibly; depends on the preceding text, I'd say - if it describes a cleaning method, then "possible" or "any" is OK, IMO - but agree that strictly speaking it's not necessary...
