bike commute or bike-commute

My car-commute (car commute?) is ...
My public transportation commute is ..

What if it's a bike (no motor)?

Meine Fahrrad-Pendelzeit beträgt ...

Klingt doof, oder? Umschreiben, oder?

Definitely leave out the hyphens. Totally unnecessary in this case in English. But, "bike commute," "public transportation commute" and "car commute" aren't terribly good English, either. Try "commute by car"...

Das Englisch ist mir zu hoch,
aber was soll das Deutsche heißen?

Vielleicht "meine Anreisezeit"?

Wonderful. The thought process, sort of 1, 2, 3, actually has led me to my solution/conclusion (which would be hilfesuch's idea, with the other's thoughts).

Thanks all of you!
