California81, if you would enable your messsage function, I might have a question for you.
Yes, I too miss minima, judex, AndreasS, Jurist, fairfax, Katydid, Todd, candice, easy, Jalapeño, BLZ, CM2DD und und und ...
The flip side of this question is, who are these people like Jesse Pinkman, Yarith, Georg-im-Gehege, schwäble, duffydagic; or earlier, Le Chat, Mr Chekov, lingua franca, traveler in time, Gart, no me bré, Emil 14 ... that show up out of nowhere but seem familiar. In some cases I have an idea, in others not -- but it just feels so strange to think that they're out there thinking, 'Ha ha, I know you who are but you don't know who I am.' I understand it may just be privacy concerns, but still, somehow that doesn't contribute much to a sense of community.
That said, I would like to thank the people who seem to have kept one nick for a while. MiMo, JanZ, Lutz B, dirk, sebastianW, Kinky, Gibson, harambee, Feuerflieger, virus, Dodolina, tigger (congratulations, by the way, and sound sleep to tiggerino), Dragon, manni3, Carly, and all the rest of you -- you know who you are.
And it's never too late to reappear -- I was very happy to see WernR Siehe auch: SPIEGEL-Artikel, Thema Übersetzungen - #81
and Lara Siehe auch: Crossover 318 - #30
after long periods of radio silence.
Someday perhaps I will make a grand tour of Germany and take you all out to dinner one after the other, if you ever tell me who you are. (-:
