    "on" statt "distributed on"

    Topic

    "on" statt "distributed on"

    Comment
    Hallo!

    hier mal der Satz:

"With a total GLA of 1.280.869 m2 on 60 schemes, "A" has more than double as much GLA, distributed on more than three times as many shopping centres than "B", counting 562.539 m2 of total GLA on merely 18 schemes."

If I understand your sentence, I think it should be:

With a total GLA of 1.280.869 m2 on 60 schemes, "A" has more than twice as much GLA and distributes it to more than three times as many shopping centres than does "B", [counting 562.539 m2 of total GLA on merely 18 schemes".]

[The last part of the sentence, in brackets, I do not understand.]

    - 1,280,869 m², i.e. comma not point
    - twice the amount of GLA [gross lettable area] distributed over more than three times as many shopping centres as B, which has ....
    - could also use in 60 schemes (though I'm not sure about the word "scheme" - does this refer to "shopping centres"?)

Good job, Spike. (I wish I'd known what GLA meant.]
