Und was für eine schöne Erklärung des Begriffs auf Wikipedia: "Darby and Joan is a proverbial phrase for a married couple content to share a quiet life of mutual devotion."

Kennt ihr das? Mein NES-Partner kannte zwar den Ausdruck, aber nicht seine Bedeutung. Und er und ich kommen eigentlich auch langsam in das Darby & Joan - Alter 🙂
Gibt es so ein typisches altes zufriedenes Pärchen auch in Deutschland / auf Deutsch? Der Fischer und sin Fru stehen ja eher nicht für quiet contentment, aber gibt es da andere fiktive Paare? Mir fällt keines ein, euch?
