    Wasa Crack ...

    Comment
I had to laugh out loud this morning in the supermarket -- when I saw a large packet with the following logo:

    CRACK & TASTE

No, it's not aromatized rock cocaine ... it's a type of cracker bread made by swedish dry-bread experts Wasa.

Erm, am I off my waffle or is the name actually slightly strange?

sehr schön. Das geht aber auch prima in der Muttersprache, komische Produktnamen: letztens im Hochprozentigen-Regal vor der Kasse entdeckt: "Frühstücks-Korn". Eek. Für übers Müsli oder wie?

I've laughed over the same product myself (the word "crack" brings several amusing associations to my evidently rather sad mind). They are very tasty, though. I don't expect they sell them in England ... do they??

"several rather amusing associations" - would one of them have to do with builders and their too tight trousers, perchance? That's what came to my mind, at any rate. I just couldn't fit in the crisp bread, as it were.

Crack cocaine no thanx ! My principle on taking drugs is; NEVER take a drug named after a part of your body ! Follow my advise and you will be alright !
