@Cassandra - a dictionary, imo, mirrors the accepted usage of language as it is used, and *not* as different groups would have it used.
What, for you, is vulgarity, may well be the object of necessary linguistic research, or any other form of research, and has a right to be represented.
just imagine, if you will, that I am pathologically averse to any mentions of war, military, police or other symbols of violence - for me these are obscene things, and obscenity shouldn't be in a dictionary, so let's get rid of these words....
the logical consequence is that you have no dictionaries at all.
LEO's niveau has nothing to do with whether references to genitalia are included or excluded, but whether it is, and wants to be, a full reference guide to English-German.
if it does, then everything, from dioxyribosenucleic acid to motherf***er should, nay!! - HAS to be included.
