I disagree with:"...a sound management philosophy I can easily identify myself with."
=eine Philosophie (Filosofie) womit ich mich ausweisen kann!
("..i can identify myself easily with" wäre das Gleiche, nur grammatisch falsch)
sassan hat's richtig geschrieben.
"the reason that" sounds fine to me, although a bit informal. It could be that old grammar books say it is incorrect, but I took a look in the Guardian and found quite a few examples, such as:
"Sex is the reason that Princess Zulu - Princess is her Christian name, not her title - has got into the truck. " (http://www.guardian.co.uk/women/story/0,3604,...
Or without anything:
"Tom Cruise says Bushido is the reason he wanted to make The Last Samurai: "It's a very powerful code; those are wonderful things to aspire to in life." " (http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,360...
Just try searching for "is the reason that" or "is the reason he" and you'll find lots more examples. I used the Guardian as the writers are professionals.
