wäre jemand so lieb meine Englisch-Bewerbung Korrektur zu lesen? Danke!
Dear sir or madam,
I am applying for the participation in your International Event Management programme starting in the autumn of 2008.
I chose this programme because of my interest in managing events and being around with many people, who also follow the same dream as I do. Just as I like speaking English. For example, I spent my last year working and travelling around the work, where I basically stayed 11 Month from in Australia. It was quite important to improve my English skills as well as my personal style of living. As the offer of the (IUoAS) is the perfect combination for me to study the right subject and also improving my language skills in everyday business.
I have always intended to do something for a living where I can organize, travel and meet new people. It is my goal to study and work in an international environment, which the IUoAS would enable me to do because of the fact that they have a lot of exchange students from all over the world and the main language is English.
In my former High school, I was often on projects of organizing events, and indeed I found it quite interesting, so that I became more and more interested in event management. By the way, I used to be the one to organise parties, events or even parades. I worked in different industries, as I organized school parties, “Carnival” parades, charity festivals, or just events including dinner.
As my father is employed by a big company often present at congresses, I love accompanying him there to feel the whole atmosphere and learning about new products or inventions. Even though, school has never been that important in my life, I have been absolutely sure, especially since last year when I worked in different industries and different countries, too, that I am going to work much harder than earlier in my school career in order to become an event manager. Last year's experience opened up new horizons for me and taught me that, after all, studying event management had always meant pulling myself together to go on.
I heard about your university quite a while ago. When I did, I thought that it would just be the one to help me to achieve my goals, because it is specialized for Event Management. And because of your contacts in leading business industries, it would very likely be a good recommendation to give no matter where or when requested in my future professional life.
I hope to have above been convincing enough and look forward to receiving a reply at your earliest convenience.
