Hi I'm new here and not quite sure where this topic would belong,... so I think the chat room is probably the best place to start without stepping on too many toes. Heh.
If I'm wrong here, please have mercy and just direct me to the right place.
I was searching for a transcribed version of the "Dearest creatures in creation..." poem from the normal 'written' language to the 'spoken' phonetics.
Without having to try to search for every single word and then copy_paste-ing the phonetics.
Also I was wondering... Since LEO sometimes includes the phonetics in their (i)-buttons...
Would it be possible* to get an added 'literal "translation"'-function in LEO for short texts? (from english (or any other availlable language for that matter) to their respective phonetics)?
(*somewhen, if it becomes more common)
And should IPA -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA_for_English
be used for such a feature?
Okay, after this brief detour...
HAS anyone got a phonetic translation of the poem
(linked beneath for the sake of completeness)?
