hm--us: fyi regarding trolls and fake posts: your response was the correct one. See the 'impersonation' section of Timothy Campbell's excellent write-up at http://members.aol.com/intwg/trolls.htm#IMPN
for more on this, and related topics.
Part of the problem here is due to the fact that unregistered posts are allowed on Leo, so anyone can impersonate you.
This is one reason why I provide my e-mail on nearly all my posts, as a means of confirming identity, should it come to that. Although anyone knowing SMTP can spoof my e-mail address and pretend to be me (as I can easily spoof theirs), only I can actually use the REPLY button and *send a copy of the text of the original message back to the sender* as I will be the only one to receive what you wrote.
So, you might consider including your e-mail here. As far as I can tell, I have received no spam in three years on account of this, and only about a dozen messages directed to me, all of which I welcomed as they were from Leo users responding to my posts in a friendly manner.
