    For me, this need is reflected in painting. Especially in por-
    traits I try to present personalities or abstract concepts.
    I hope that my pictures can give people something, telling
    a story or evoke emotions, so that my work is essential in
    relationship to someone.

    Die Sätze sind für die Selbstdarstellung eines Künstlers gedacht. Da es gedruckt werden soll, wäre es einfach super, wenn ein Muttersprachler sagen könnte, ob das verständlich ist bzw. ob man das so sagen kann. Danke vorab!

    Ich bin kein Muttersprachler, aber:

    Liebe Katrin, stelle doch die Anfrage in "Übersetzung korrekt?" noch einmal, da schauen vielleicht mehr Übersetzungshelfer rein :-)

    Gut wäre es auch, den deutschen Ausgangstext zu haben, um sehen zu können, was genau ausgedrückt werden soll.

    Especially in portraits I try to present personalities or abstract concepts. - I'm not sure what you mean here; you try to present both personalities and abstract concepts in portraits? You sure? Is this about Picasso? ;-)

    Danke Birgila, hab ich gemacht. Eine genaue deutsche Vorlage gibts nicht, ist ja direkt für das englische Buch gedacht.
