als ob es weniger verständlicher wäre wenn alles klein geschrieben ist.
Personally, I find that it is indeed harder to understand a text written entirely in lower case. I have exactly the same experience with texts written entirely in upper case. I have to make an additional effort, and it takes me more time.
Texts written in grammatically correct, appropriately spelled (including capitalized) and punctuated language make reading and understanding easier. In your case, for example, I only read the first half of your post. I just did not have the patience to read the second part because you did not use capitalization. "Why should I make an effort" I thought to myself, "when the writer didn't?"bei englisch beschwert sich doch auch keiner???
I am glad you inserted question marks because users of LEO most certainly do complain when people fail to use appropriate capitalization in English.
Since LEO is a website for people who are specifically interested in languages (linguists, translators, teachers, students, and many others), we can be quite serious about capitalization.
I realize that there are websites on the internet where people do not give a hoot about things like spelling, punctuation and grammar. But that's just not the way it is on LEO.
