Did some googling and found out that Graupen are polished wheat kernels that no longer possess their outer layer (bran) or their Keimling (wheat germ).

None of the English websites I found process wheat in that way. Wheat berries (or groats) are unprocessed wheat kernels, they get processed by getting cracked (become bulgar), flattened (become rolled wheat flakes), or coarsely ground (become cracked wheat).

I guess the best way to translate Weizengraupen is to call them polished wheat berries.
