    co-op ( Cooperative)

During my search for a paid internship I often found the expression "Cooperative" in contrast to an internship.

    "Job category: Internship/Co-op"

Does anybody know the difference between these two job categories?

I'm not so sure that these are two different jobs. I think it means an internship in a cooperative as in "Praktikum in einer Genossenschaft."

Hmm, some job offers were desribed with internship, others with cooperative.

Can you explain what does "Praktikum in einer Genossenschaft" mean?

    # 2, hawa, "Genossenschaft" is a certain form of enterprise. Such as a "cooperative bank" or a "wholesale cooperative" = Einkaufgenossenschaft
