A product for (finger)nails! Is it simply "honey effect"? Thanks

No idea - I have never heard of this product, much less used it ...

But why, pray tell, do you use the nonsensical spelling "honig effekt" as your search term, when you can obviously spell it correctly in your sample sentence?

not sure what effect honey is supposed to have on anything except comestibles - they probably mean something like "honey-like structure" or "consistency", don't you think?

    Yes, it does matter.
    a) You're in a language forum so the least that can be expected of people is that they are accurate in their use of language.
    b) The idea of entering the search term correctly is so that it can be useful to other people at a later date, not just as a one-off response to your question.

Well, the problem is, this would actually require some consideration for others (and for language as such) on the OP's part ...

Yes, I am both absent minded and rather tired and typed it as in English. I hardly think this is going to cause the German language to collapse. Or that you can draw conclusions from such a fleeting incident. Good morning and thanks for your help!

Let's hope your translation doesn't suffer from your absent-mindedness and tiredness too :-)

No, Spike, they just suffer from my bad translation skills, and those are permanent. Woody, "pray tell" is rather antiquated and now usually used sarcastically. If I misread you I apologize for my snappishness.
