das hab ich jetzt in LEO für Zukaufteil gefunden; hab vorhin nur Zukaufartikel eingegeben... gibt es da noch Synonyme?

Kaufteil=buy-part=bought part

I am from the US and have never in my life heard the term "bought-in" parts. I'm correcting a german translated document right now and they wrote "bought-out" parts, and I had no idea what they were talking about until I went to read the German (Zukaufteile).

It is possible that I have been living in a cave, but I would reccommend somthing simpler such as "bought parts" or "purchased parts".

Auch auf Deutsch liefert ein Lieferant sicherlich nur Teile oder Artikel. Der kauft nämlich nichts zu und es ist ihm schnurzegal, ob sein Auftraggeber diese Ware nur kauft oder "zukauft".
