At Communion, the priest just says "the body of Christ" or "the blood of Christ" before offering the consecrated host/wine to the individual members of the congregation, and the members of the congregation respond (individually) "Amen" before receiving the host/wine.

But at another part of the Mass (the consecration of the Eucharist if I recall correctly) the priest holds up the (big) host and says "This is my body, which will be given up for you" And when he holds up the chalice of wine, he says "this is my blood, which will be shed for you."
