I would (vorsichtig) say, that sometimes nomen est omen (and I know that my Latin is crepe).
I presume you are German (with a name like Werner of course) and can only say your English is excellent. Personally I think some people could all show a tad more tolerance and apprecation of people offering time and expertise and a great exchange of ideas and experience.

I have now read that thread "The Euro stood..." and fully understand why you are pissed off. I was also shot down recently and, in my opinion, it was unjustified. I think some people should be a little more tolerant. None of us is perfect because we are all human, but we are all trying to help the Leo community voluntarily.

Even when someone does make a mistake (which was not so in your case nor, I still mainiain, in mine) it can be pointed out in a more construtive way. I initially felt like discontinuing my contributions to Leo but I am still here at the moment.

when I first started contributing to LEO, I, in ignorance of what effects I might have, tended to form placative, polemic answers.
After reading the replies I was so ashamed, that I changed my nick and my ways. Perhaps the person responsible at the moment will re-consider the effect he/she is having on others and find a more *diplomatic* means of correcting mistakes.

btw: ever notice that there are few if any sources offered?....

maybe so, but Werner is hardly the most diplomatic of types at times, though Leo would be nothing without him.
