This is apparently coming into effect on 1 July 2012. But is the translation on page 18 (see post #7) official? It looks a bit strange to me. For example are "Quantity of the object of supply" and "object of the delivery" accepted commercial terms? I would have said "goods or services"

Has anyone been working on this and knows where there are better translations of the German form?

It's the "Quantity of the object of supply" and "object of the delivery" that interests me. I would just like to know if these are standard commercial terms or just wooden German translations of "Gegenstand"

"Delivery" für "Lieferung" ist mir neu ("supply" ist das, was ich kenne), aber "object of the supply" ist leider so ein blöder Ausdruck, der sich aus "Gegenstand einer innergemeinschaftlichen Lieferung" ergibt.
Wie würdest Du das machen? "Goods of intra-community supply" ist ja auch irgendwie Quatsch. Wenn man versucht, mit "goods supplied ..." auszubrechen, hätte ich wiederum das Problem, wie ich knapp ausdrücke, dass die Lieferung von einem EU-Land in ein EU-Land geht.

Sorry, da habe ich mich wohl undeutlich ausgedrückt. Natürlich sind "Lieferung" und "delivery" Entsprechungen, aber die umsatzsteuerliche Lieferung heißt aus dem EU-Kontext heraus ziemlich einheitlich "supply".
