Agree with some previous posters: to be named or to be announced is good, with a nuance that I think it is more likely to be used in a situation where a job or role is new.
In business or organizations on their organization charts, I have often encountered "open" in the sense of unoccupied for a job or role that has existed but is currently unfilled, say because the previous person in the role has left. However, I think it could be used even for a new, never previously occupied role too.
