Ich glaube was werner meinte ist, dass man im englischen nicht sagt 24/7/365. wenn mann 24/7 sagt, heisst d eigentlich automatisch, dass man auch 365 Tage in Jahr arbeitet. Im deutschen sagt man eher man arbeitet 365 Tage im Jahr.

Beides meint eigentlich eine Non Stop produktion.

Just to add my two cents in regards to Helmi's contribution and the follow-up comments:

I've seen 24/7/365 used here plenty of times. I think the last company I worked for might have even used it in their advertising brochure. I guess it's just added on for extra emphasis. However, I would say 24/7 alone is probably more common.

just a note that "24/7" is a bit slang, a bit jargon. it has only been common as a spoken expression in recent years. if you are writing something formal, it's better to use "twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week"

also: "my company works 24/7" - would prefer "operates" or maybe "runs". companies don't work, workers work.

Je nachdem, in welchem Zusammenhang dieser Ausdruck benoetigt wird, koennte man auch sagen: around the clock, seven days a week. Das klingt etwas weniger umgangssprachlich.

Also 24/7 wird im Allgemeinen schon verstanden, es kommt aber auf die Branche an, ob dann auch tatsächlich 365 Tage gearbeitet wird. Ich kenne eine Firma, da laufen die Maschinen normalerweise rund um die Uhr, nur an zwei Gelegenheiten werden sie abgeschaltet: an Weihnachten und am 1. Mai. Es dauert dann immer eine ganze Schicht, bis die Maschinen wieder laufen. Bei der firma, bei der ich zuletzt gearbeitet haben (Dornier) war der Werksflughafen wirklich _immer_ anflugbereit, mit der entsprechenden Konsequenz für die Mitarbeiter (Werft, Feuerwehr, Werkschutz, etc.).
