Are you sure about "by"? I would have thought that "trapped by" means that someone meant to trap you. "trapped with" indicates that you are stuck in a trap and this really annoying person is there also.

"trapped with" would most likely indicate that I am trapped by someone or something along with someone else so that the two of us are now stuck.
