    Ich bräuchte den Fachbegriff für diese Funktionen in Deutsch, leider habe ich bisher nichts gefunden.

    Hier gibt es (wenn auch im Zusammenhang mit Chromosomen) einen Text zu Algorithmen und -zweimal im Buch verwendet,S.144 und S.172-
    Täuschungsfunktionen
    (in Verbindung werden erwähnt:
    Whitley's deceptive functions).

    Passt das?

    "decrete"? Das soll wohl "discrete" sein?

    Das ist einer der Fälle, wo man besser zweisprachig bleibt. Neben der Übersetzung das englische Original in Klammern setzen, oder eine entsprechende Anmerkung anfügen.

    Toffeeta, zur weiteren Recherche möchte ich Dir noch Google Scholar ans Herz legen.

    Für mich ist das neu, aber mein erster Eindruck: Das sind keine zwei verschiedenen Dinge, das "trap" kann man weglassen. (Irrtum ausdrücklich möglich.)
