At least in BE, a catchword from the BBC programme The Teletubbies, which I know appears on TV in Germany. I can't imagine making up a whole English sentence about a hug!

You could say something like, "here's a big hug" or "here's a hug from me". I agree, "hugs and kisses" is a common phrase, particularly when people are apart from each other, so you would put it in a letter or something.
