Meinst Du eine ganz verglaste Fassade "glass facade" oder besser "glass façade" oder eine Reihe großer Fenster "banks of windows" bzw. "windows bank" ?
#2
"Ja genau, das meine ich."
Was denn nun? "Glass façade" oder "bank of windows / windows bank"?
The plural in "windows bank" doesn't work in English. At best, you'd have to say "a bank of windows."
'"glass facade" oder besser "glass façade"': The latter is not "besser." It's also acceptable. In both Oxford online (now with the ridiculous name "Lexico") and M-W, the main entry is "facade." M-W shows "variants: or less commonly façade". Oxford shows "(also façade)"
There may be a bit of a snobbishness factor among certain folks that says "façade" is better, but neither of these two respected dictionaries sees it that way.

I am afraid I lost respect for the Oxf one a long time ago. It has decided that being 'trendy' and 'with it' is the way to go (#beingrelevant, dontchaknow).
Re #6: That's exactly the type of response I expected when I wrote #4. ;-)
