The topic was already discussed once. "Feasibility study", as suggested in this thread is acceptable. I've also heard the following.

"Technical Proof of Concept".

"Validating the technology stack".

The suggested "spike" or "spike solution" mentioned in the thread are terms that I've never heard used in this context, they are more like a random experiment for a specific piece of the software, not the end-to-end functionality.

Ich habe den deutschen Terminus "Durchstich" offen gestanden noch nie gehört. Das mag daran liegen, daß in den Unternehmen in denen ich war die Firmensprache English war und deutsche Begriffe immer "Denglish" benutzt wurden.

Ich weiß man sollte Tante Wiki in sprachlicher Hinsicht nicht zu Rate ziehen, aber die dort genannten Vorschläge erscheinen mir sinnvoller als die in #1 verlinkten.
