I Trionfi, a quintet of lute and voices, appearing by kind permission of the Royal Northern College of Music, will introduce works by Clément Janequin, Heinrich Isaac, Jacquet de Berchem, amongst others. You will hear music of the time from the countries Dürer visited, and from the Imperial Court.

Das frage ich mich schon länger. Es scheint ein feststehender Begriff zu sein, in etwa "Konzert der schönen Künste" (fine arts), wobei daran offensichtlich nur die performing arts mitwirken können, also Musik, Tanz, Schauspiel.

Es ist aber keineswegs sicher, dass es etwas anderes als Musik dabei gibt, aber immerhin manchmal auch Tanz/Ballett.

Oben, eher zur Illustration, zwei Informationen zur gleichen Veranstaltung, bei dem Fundraising für eine Dürer-Ausstellung diente, gerade erst letzten Monat.
