Had a look at the picture, and I don't know what it's called, but the installers at such conferences must have a word for it, assuming they even use such contraptions here, which I'm not at all sure they do.

Given that, I could invent some words for it, maybe something like "socket well" (emphasizing the depression) or "socket vault" (if it's secured so prying fingers can't get in to unplug them or plug other things in) or something like that. If there's not really an accepted designation for such things, maybe just a descriptive phrase like "round 35 x 20 cm 12-socket capacity under-floor mounted socket box" or whatever it happens to be.
