7. The Church Administration Ordinance now includes a new clause 38A which allows parish council's to pass "circular resolutions". A meeting of the parish council is not necessary to pass "circular resolutions".

"separate resolution" for me does not express the special procedure used, e.g. that the proposal is sent to all board members for approval without a meeting and without (further) discussion.

In addition, it is used on a German site and may be a vague translation for "Umlaufbeschluß".

Umlaufbeschluss wird üblicherweise mit circular resolution übersetzt!
