Hmmm, wenn ich so drüber nachdenke -- "indeed" ist m.E. verstärkend, nicht widersprechend wie in diesem Beispiel.

Bin mir auch nicht ganz sicher, was hier das beste ist, aber ich würde schreiben "Oh no, I *do* think that I have to apologise." Ist aber mit Vorsicht zu genießen, ich bin kein Native Speaker.

– "I definitely feel I should apologise...."
– "I feel strongly that I should apologise..."
or "...that an apology is entirely appropriate..."
(I can't think of a direct or indirect equivalent of "sehr wohl")

One more to add to Ghol's list:
I certainly need to apologise...
I certainly feel that I should apologise...

but in this case it sounds more normal to me to say

I owe you an apology, because...
or I definitely owe you an apology, because...
