Your German sentence reminds me of the saying "When one door closes, another door opens". That could work here.

That's what comes to my mind when I think of couples that broke up. It means that better times are ahead. However, sunny's translation is the better one. I just gave you this saying as an alternative. ;-)

"every cloud has a silver lining" ist sehr schön. Aber gibt es auch etwas, wo vor allem "Neuanfang" irgendwie vorkommt?

You can translate it literally: "Every end is a new beginning". But still, I'd prefer sunny's suggestion.

Das ist zwar eigentlich das Gegenteil, fand ich aber immer einen sehr hübschen Satz.

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end!

In the German original the "beginning" is inherent in the "ending", the "ending" sort of contains the "beginning".
