    @blowdown: Yes, among others. Refer is a generic term for a refrigerated means of transport, not specifically a truck.

    @Sven: I agree with you but that's no attention-grabbing novelty. No matter what type of transport you're talking about, the refrigerated-food vehicles (mostly semitrailers) in road transportation are called reefers for short, at least in the States. In temperature-controlled marine transportation, for example, you have reefer ships.
