@Martina: Wobei "same, same" in Indien soviel wie 'es ist egal / es ist gleich' bedeutet.

"Double, double" has entered the language through this source. (Bridge and backgammon players are may say it when they are doubling enthusiastically.)

I do not know "double, double" among children. A child might say another was stupid "with knobs on", but it is not a normal use of the phrase.
