Think tank ?

can't say I've ever heard of a "pool" of ideas. After a brainstorming session, there might be a "number" of ideas from which to choose, but afaik, "pool" usually refers to the labor force, to people.

"Collection of ideas" is more likely. I agree that "pool of ideas" doesn't seem quite right.

to brainstorm = to pool ideas, might be where Ned got his idea from, but I agree it doesn't work as a noun but there is a lot of evidence that antive people use is nonetheless.

But it is nicer than saying just a collection of ideas @Sammy as you have some kind of aquatic image.

The results of their/the (company's) think tank...


Or is think tank like a Panzer? In that case you could go for an arsenal of ideas :-)
