    Oh my, so many 'Chargen'
How about 'is documented by lot determination and proof of use at the ....'
All I can think of is 'lot level', but doesn't that sound too silly?

Is not getting any comments a sign that 'lot level' is OK or totally wrong?
    Could somebody please help!

Hey just me thanks for answering!
So if lot and batch are nearly the same (at least in this sense and according to the writer), and your SAP uses batch level, then level must be OK. Haven't heard of where-used list yet, I'll have to run it by them!
    Thanks again!

You find a where-used list in an MRP (manufacturing resource planning) system. It tells you all of the places a particular part is used.

"Lots" are usually specific to something within a batch. When you don't buy enough carpet and you have to go out and buy more, you try to find the same "color lot" because the color varies from one BATCH to another.

    Something like that.
