    bandwagon of american complainers

    Subject

    bandwagon of american complainers

    Sources
It is also journalistically shameful that this newspaper has jumped on the bandwagon of american complainers.

"American complainers" is bad english, but it seems to me like there could be a good German Wendung for it.

    Amerika-Heuler?

The paper by the way is St. Galler Tagblatt.

depends on what they complain about...
if they complain about fate, the weather etc. you could try amerikanische Heulsusen (cry-babies)
if they bitch and moan about the state of the nation, the French etc. thids forum will (hopefully) provide you with a lot of choice expressions:
Right now I can only think of: Meckerfritzen
