In Oxford haben die einen Kurs Philosophy, Politics and Economics (Joint Honours), der dem ganzen wohl am nächsten kommt.

In American high schools the course(s) usually carries the name: Civics and Economics. Since I am using American high school terminology and Helen referred to Oxford, this may be an AE/BE difference, or it may not (maybe high school vs university).

@ Robert...I assume its BE/AE, as I had to endure some previous sixth formers (high school level) who took politics already in school and now wanted to tell their lecturer all about the subject at uni...(sit down children and learn...next one annoying me gets kicked out ;-) )
