i don't want to mislead you - easy us not a response to the ordinary how are you - the initial greeting will also be slangy

i associate it with some circles - its by no means universal

Is is used in Great Britain and the US? Does anyone know?


It reminds me of the term "easy action" which is used in "West Side Story",
but maybe this is more in the sense of "easy now" or "take it easy"?
