'Schlag mich tot' literally means 'strike me dead' and here in Belfast I have heard it used in the sense of 'believe me i.m telling the truth'.

"Blow me down" could work. It seems like more of an exclamation, but it matches up pretty well with the translation.

Als Ergänzung, falls jemand mal bei der Suche im Forum auf diesen alten Faden stößt:

"schlag mich tot" ist sinngemäß zu ergänzen durch "... und ich kann dir trotzdem nicht mehr sagen", oder ausführlicher:
"Du kannst mir androhen mich totzuschlagen, und trotzdem wirst du keine genauere Aussage von mir bekommen - weil ich es nicht genauer weiß!"

Das "strike me dead" aus #3 entspricht wohl eher dem deutschen
"Soll der Schlag mich treffen, wenn ..."
"Ich will tot umfallen, wenn ..."
(... das nicht stimmt, was ich sage.)
