      I found this expression in a Joint Venture Agreement i actually have to translate. The Article deals with transfer of interests and rights to Venturer in a Joint Venture.The forgoing Articles describe the Offfer and the Accceptance of the Interests. Then comes the Article "Nonconsideration Transfer". I´ve never heard this expression before. Is this a terminus technicus (comm., law) or just an invention of it´s own? What could be the meaning?

    Habe den Ausdruck bisher noch nie gehört (was allein nichts zu besagen hat). Wenn der nicht anderweitig definiert sein sollte (wovon ich allerdings ausgehe, die Großschreibung erfolgte wohl nicht willkürlich), dann würde ich an eine "nicht bestimmte/bezifferte Gegenleistung" denken, weil dann der Preis ja anders bestimmt werden soll.

    Seems to me like it's probably a mealy-mouthed way of saying contribution in kind / Sacheinlage. Would that make sense?

     Yes, I think "Sacheinlagenübertragung" or "Übertragung ohne Gegenleistung" could be appropriate, thank you for your help!

    Öhm, nochmal - warum sollte bei einer Übertragung OHNE Gegenleistung angegeben werden, wie der "purchase price" (der ja - so vermute ich - die Gegenleistung darstellt) ermittelt wird?

    Von daher habe ich sowohl hinsichlich der "Sacheinlage" als auch hinsichtlich der "Übertragung ohne Gegenleistung" sachte Zweifel ;-)
