When you Google a word, and the first ten results are all dictionary entries, you can be certain that the word is extremely rare, if not obsolete.

“The judiciary”, by contrast, is a common expression for the court system, or its personnel (judges etc.)

So, in fact, both words can be used synonymously, whereas judicative is probably not as common as judiciary for the translation of the German word Judikative/Rechtssprechung.

If I were you, I think I would follow LEO, and exclude "judicative" from my active vocabulary.

Man braucht "judicative" zwar nicht für seinen aktiven Wortschatz, aber das heißt nicht, dass es nicht existiert.

Richtig. Nur gibt es andere Übersetzungsmöglichkeiten für Judikative und Rechtssprechung, die ME gängiger sind.

Damit wir uns nicht falsch verstehen: ich habe "judicative" nicht als Übersetzung für "Judikative/Rechtsprechung" vorgeschlagen!
