Allow me to name four this evening: wrath (Latin, ira), anger or rage; pride (Latin, superbia), which certainly applies to some protagonists in the recent crisis; lust (Latin, luxuria), excessive thoughts or desires, which must accounted for by each individual; and sloth (Latin, acedia), laziness or indifference.

There's certainly a better way of saying this. Ideas, anyone?
