Ich habe gerade eine nachricht bekommen, dass ein Geraet das ich dringend benutzen muss kaputt gegangen ist.

Ich will antworten & sagen. Das hoert sich nicht gut an, aber trotzdem Danke fuer's bescheid sagen.

Kann ich schreiben:
"Thanks for letting me know.
I don't like the sound of this."
Ich bin mir unsicher ob sich das nicht etwas unhoeflich anhoert

Die Nachricht auf die ich antworten moechte lautete:
Nadine, looks like fingers crossed didn't work. The electrician's just been in & he says that there's more damage than he thought at first. Current position is that (unless he gets lucky) I need a new/rebuilt motor. He'll be back later to confirm the position & give an estimate of time.
