    as such

    Quellen
Das Program ist nicht nur auf das Fahrzeug an sich ausgerichtet.

The programme does not deal with only the vehicle as such.

Does "an sich" here mean "as such"? If not, how does one say "as such" in German?
    Thanks.

... but "an sich" will also do in this context.

    But is my translation correct?

    Well, I can't really say ...

What kind of "programme" is this - and what does "deal with" really mean?

The German term "ausgerichtet auf" seems rather vague as well.

    Oh - and it's "das Programm" ...

It's a customer satisfaction programme... yeah "Das Programm", sorry.

They mean to say that the customer satisfaction programme doesn't aim at satisfying customer only w.r.t the vehicle, but also in other aspects, like sales, after-sales services etc.
