Beide Begriffe haben - nach meiner Meinung - eine weitere Bedeutung als Business Control, mehr in der Richtung des englischen Business Management, Business Administration usw.

- Financial Controlling, und;
- Business Controlling

Ja aber Lelle guck doch mal
in der definition für controlling steht doch "Management" also ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass management und controlling im prinzip dasselbe ist - mit der ausnahme, dass management für mich eher die gesamtleitung ist und controlling das management im wirklichen sinne, wohingegen ich management eher als vorstand und vor allem nach außen repräsentatives ansehe...

Naja, falls es dir immer noch nicht gefällt - mir fällt nichts mehr ein ;)

I'm not sure about using this for controlling (changing, of course, the parts of speech to fit), but it seems to me to be appropriate. The only place I have come across this word was at the "Comptroller's Office" at university, which was in charge of all student financial matters. Many colleges seem to call it the "Comptroller."

I'm not sure if it can be changed into a verb, as in "comptrolling." I've never heard it, but it doesn't seem unreasonable to me as an AE speaker.
