Wir sind sorgfältig. (Headline - im Sinne von: Wir arbeiten sorgfältig.)

Personally, I would tend to 'We are accurate.', but I also have read 'careful' in this context (eg. 'to examine carefully'). The German text following the quoted headline emphasizes the quality of the work and work process.

'emsig', 'fleißig'? That sounds like being (stereo)typically German. Not like marketing speech.

    gewissenhaft? sorgfältig?

    What's your problem?

'diligent' sound like someone who works a lot (fleißig), not like someone who delivers work of the highest quality. Or is this a wrong impression?

    Ja, ist es.

    No, it's the right impression.

Maybe you could use "attention to detail" instead of trying to find a single-word translation.

Thanks Bill, that is a good idea. It also opens up other possibilities like 'We care about details'.

    We take good care.
We take care of every detail.
    We do a thorough job.
    We don't miss a thing.
    Nothing escapes us.

Ich hätte "meticulous" vorgeschlagen, aber als Überschrift wohl nicht so toll.

    conscientious

    meticulous

    painstaking

    punctilious

all might fit too - depends on what the work is,
watchmaking or care of the elderly e.g.

Watchmaking or care of the elderly. Great contrast, Mike. It certainly conjures up two very distinct images!

Thanks to all of you for the proposals. Regarding the work, it's definitely more watchmaking than care of the elderly, but Bill, I know what you mean ;)
